Montreal Lake Cree Nation’s Housing Department serves the communities of Montreal Lake 106-A and Little Red 106-B, overseeing the maintenance of the homes. Our primary responsibilities include heating, plumbing, and electrical work. In Montreal Lake 106-A, our organization consists of 5 staff members, while Little Red 106-B is supported by a team of 2 staff members. Both communities have dedicated Housing Committees, with 5 members in Montreal Lake and 4 members in Little Red.
 

Our operations are based out of the Nick Bird Memorial Building, which houses both the Public Works and Housing Departments. This facility enables us to efficiently manage and coordinate our housing services. We are committed to providing safe and comfortable living conditions for our members and addressing their housing needs promptly.
